Services

Four practice areas.
No general consulting.

Each area below is something at least two of us have run in production for years. Anything outside this page, we refer out — usually within a day, usually to someone we have worked alongside.

Practice area 01

Network & edge

The layer where "intermittent" lives. We map the real path a packet takes — not the one in the diagram — and remove the parts of it that fail silently.

  • Path-MTU and fragmentation audits across carriers and tunnels
  • Anycast and BGP announcement review, including failover drills
  • Reverse-proxy topology: TLS termination, real-IP propagation, header hygiene
  • Edge rate limiting and abuse controls that do not ban your own health checks
  • DNS resolution paths, split-horizon cleanup, DNSSEC rollout
Typical length
4–7 weeks
Deliverable
Topology document, clamp/policy changes, failover runbook
Practice area 02

Storage & data paths

Backups are a restore problem, not a backup problem. We assume nothing in your retention policy is true until it has been restored in front of us.

  • Restore drills against production-sized data, timed and documented
  • Replication topology review: quorum, lag budgets, split-brain behaviour
  • Tiering and lifecycle rules aligned to actual read patterns
  • Encryption-at-rest key custody, rotation, and break-glass procedure
  • Capacity modelling with a named trigger point for the next expansion
Typical length
5–9 weeks
Deliverable
Restore runbook, RPO/RTO measured (not claimed), capacity model
Practice area 03

Build & release

A pipeline is infrastructure. If it is slow, everything downstream of it is slow, including the decision to fix it.

  • Cache correctness audit — key design, hit-rate instrumentation, invalidation
  • Reproducible container images with pinned bases and provenance attestation
  • Rollback paths tested on schedule, not discovered during an incident
  • Artefact retention and supply-chain review of third-party build steps
  • Merge-queue and branch topology tuned to your actual review throughput
Typical length
3–6 weeks
Deliverable
Pipeline changes merged, before/after timings, rollback drill
Practice area 04

Migrations

Datacentre exits, cloud moves, major-version jumps. The plan names the abort criteria and the person allowed to call it. That person is yours, not ours.

  • Dependency inventory, including the ones nobody documented
  • Dual-write or shadow-traffic phase with measured divergence
  • Cutover plan with rehearsals, abort criteria, and a named decision owner
  • Rollback that remains valid for a stated window after cutover
  • Decommission checklist so the old system actually goes away
Typical length
8–16 weeks
Deliverable
Cutover plan, rehearsal logs, decommission sign-off

Engagement models

Three shapes. Pick the smallest one that fits.

Fees are fixed at scoping. If the work runs long, that is our problem — which is why we scope carefully and occasionally say no.

Discovery

฿180,000 fixed

Two weeks. Ends in a document, not a proposal you have to buy.

  • Read-only access, no production changes
  • Findings ranked by blast radius
  • Every claim ships with its command
  • Fee credited if you continue

Second opinion

฿45,000 fixed

Three days. You have a plan; you want it attacked before you commit.

  • Design or migration plan review
  • Written objections with severity
  • One live session with your team
  • No implementation attached

Fees exclude VAT. Non-THB contracts are billed in SGD at the rate fixed on the signature date. Travel outside Bangkok is billed at cost and agreed in advance.

Boundaries

What we will not do.

Staff augmentation

We do not fill seats or attend your sprint ceremonies. If the need is capacity rather than a bounded problem, hire directly.

24/7 on-call

We build the rota and the runbook. Carrying the pager long-term belongs with the team that owns the service.

Greenfield product builds

We are not an application shop. We are useful once something exists and is misbehaving under load.
